Nearly five years after their initial market debut, the Xbox Series X and Series S are seeing significant price adjustments. Microsoft has issued updated pricing guidelines for retailers, with increases ranging from $80 to $100 depending on the specific model:
- Xbox Series S: The base model, originally priced at $299.99, will now retail for $379.99.
- Xbox Series X: The flagship console, previously $499.99, moves to a new price point of $599.99.
Controllers and Game Software
The cost of peripherals is also rising. The standard Xbox Wireless Controller will see its price increased to $64.99. Meanwhile, the premium Elite Series 2 controllers are moving to $149.99 and $199.99, depending on the specific configuration.
