Prospective buyers can begin placing pre-orders for the hardware on April 24. Despite the economic headwinds affecting international goods, the company remains committed to the June 5 launch date previously established for the console.

While the core console price remains stable, the cost of supporting peripherals is set to increase. Nintendo cited evolving market conditions as the driver for a $5 price hike across most Switch 2 accessories. The updated pricing structure includes:

- Joy-Cons: Increased to $94.99 from the previous $89.99.
- Camera Attachment: Now priced at $54.99, rising from $49.99.
Regarding software, the company indicated that pricing for key launch titles will remain unchanged. Both physical and digital editions of Mario Kart World will hold at $79.99, while Donkey Kong Bananza stays at $69.99.
