CONTEUDO:
TikTok is expanding its collaborative features, officially rolling out “Shared Collections” to allow users to group videos together with friends and family. The platform also provided a first look at “Shared Feeds,” a forthcoming tool designed to foster joint content discovery.
Collaborative Content Organization
The new Shared Collections feature functions as an extension of the individual Collections tool introduced earlier this year. It allows users to create a centralized space for curated videos, whether for planning group activities, organizing holiday ideas, or saving home design inspiration.

To participate, users must follow one another. Once a collection is established, participants can choose to keep the folder private between their circle or make it public. This feature is currently available globally for users aged 16 and older.
Upcoming Shared Feeds
Looking ahead, TikTok plans to launch “Shared Feeds” in the coming months. Designed for one-on-one direct messages, this feature generates a curated list of 15 videos daily, tailored to the combined interests and viewing habits of both users.
The feed algorithm will analyze activity—such as likes, comments, and watch history—to suggest relevant content. Once both participants have engaged with the daily selection, they can access a “Shared Likes” history to see which videos resonated with both parties.

New Messaging Features
Beyond content organization, TikTok is adding a more personal touch to its messaging platform with the introduction of digital greeting cards. Users can now select a card within a chat, attach a custom message, and send it to a friend, triggering a festive animation upon receipt.
These updates align with a broader industry trend of enhancing social discovery, drawing comparisons to features like Instagram’s “Blend,” which similarly allows users to create personalized reels feeds with friends.
