The long-awaited Omni One VR treadmill from Virtuix finally has a firm release date. The company confirmed that the motion peripheral will officially launch on September 10, marking the end of a development cycle that spanned more than a decade.
Priced at $2,595 plus shipping, the system arrives as a high-end solution to the persistent challenge of locomotion in virtual reality. By allowing users to physically move while remaining in a localized space, the device aims to mitigate the nausea often associated with stationary VR experiences.

The journey to market for the Omni One has been extensive, reflecting the common hurdles faced by hardware startups.
