Karamo Brown Launches Kē Wellness App Featuring AI Clone

Karamo Brown, best known for his role as a life coach on Netflix’s “Queer Eye,” has officially branched into the technology sector with the launch of Kē. The new wellness platform integrates personalized lifestyle management tools with a unique feature: an AI-powered digital clone of Brown himself.

Developed over the past 18 months, the app aims to streamline personal growth by covering areas such as nutrition, fitness, meditation, and sobriety. Brown noted that the project is an extension of his own journey, designed to offer users structured support for their daily habits.

Core Features and Functionality

The app provides a comprehensive suite of tools intended to simplify wellness routines. Key functionalities include:

• Adaptive Fitness: Custom workout plans that adjust based on the equipment and time available to the user, complete with instructional video guides.
• Nutrition Planning: Meal suggestions tailored to the ingredients a user already has on hand.
• Interactive Guidance: An AI chatbot allows users to request real-time modifications to their fitness and nutrition schedules.
• Mental Wellness: A dedicated meditation section featuring video content to help manage stress, alongside community groups for peer support.

The AI Karamo Experience

The centerpiece of Kē is the “AI Karamo,” a digital replica built by the AI startup Delphi. The clone is trained on a vast library of Brown’s interviews and podcasts to mimic his advice-giving style. Brown shared that even his own family members use the tool when they cannot reach him directly.

While the rise of celebrity AI clones—seen recently with stars like Matthew McConaughey and Michael Caine—has sparked debate regarding authenticity and privacy, Brown emphasizes that Kē is strictly a supplementary tool.

“At the end of the day, this is meant to be a tool that helps people reflect, learn, and grow, and it’s not a substitute for human connection,” Brown stated. He added that the app includes human oversight to monitor safety, though he advises users to avoid sharing highly sensitive personal information during AI interactions.

Looking ahead, Delphi intends to implement agentic capabilities, which would allow the AI to perform specific tasks, such as automatically updating a user’s fitness plan based on advice provided during a chat. Kē is currently available for iOS and Android, with a subscription model priced at $14.99 per month following a three-day trial.
