Amazon Luna Arrives on LG Smart TVs

Amazon is expanding its cloud gaming footprint by launching the Luna app on LG smart TVs. Owners of LG models released between 2021 and 2023 that operate on webOS 6.0 or newer can now access the service directly on their displays.

Service Availability and Regional Access

The integration follows a similar move last August when Amazon brought the service to Samsung Smart TVs. Currently, the Luna app for LG televisions is available to users in the United States, Canada, Germany, and the United Kingdom. This expansion marks another step in Amazon’s effort to reach gamers on big screens without the need for dedicated consoles.

Subscription Tiers and Game Catalog

The platform offers a tiered access model for its current library of nearly 177 titles. Amazon Prime members receive free access to a rotating selection of games, which includes the popular title “Fortnite.”

For players seeking a deeper experience, additional subscriptions are available:

• Luna+: Priced at $9.99 per month, this tier unlocks a larger catalog featuring games such as “Resident Evil 2,” “Sonic Mania Plus,” and “Lego DC Super Villians.”
• Ubisoft+: Available for $17.99 monthly, providing access to various installments of the “Assassin’s Creed” and “Farcry” franchises.
• Jackbox Games: Offers a collection of multiplayer party titles for $4.99 per month.

Hardware Compatibility
