Meta Launches ‘Meta Small Business’ to Boost AI Adoption
Meta is expanding its commitment to the entrepreneurial ecosystem with the launch of “Meta Small Business,” a new company-wide initiative designed to streamline AI adoption for smaller enterprises. The project marks a strategic pivot to ensure that the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence translates into tangible growth opportunities for the tens of millions of business owners already utilizing Meta’s platforms.

In a recent internal memo, CEO Mark Zuckerberg emphasized that small businesses have long served as a core pillar of the company’s business model. Moving forward, the organization aims to move beyond simple connectivity tools to provide more robust services tailored for the AI era.
“In the AI era, it should be easier than ever for people to build new businesses,” Zuckerberg stated. “We want to build the services that enable this. This is important for ensuring that people broadly share in the prosperity created by superintelligence.”
Leadership and Internal Mobilization
The initiative will be spearheaded by two high-level executives:
- Dina Powell McCormick, President and Vice Chairman at Meta.
- Naomi Gleit, Head of Product at Meta.
To support the project’s development, Zuckerberg has issued an internal call to action, encouraging engineers, product managers, and designers across the company to contribute to the effort. The move signals a broad push to integrate AI-driven solutions directly into the tools that entrepreneurs use to manage customer relationships and scale their operations. Further details on the rollout were initially reported by Axios.
