Netflix is significantly bolstering its gaming portfolio by securing Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for its mobile subscribers. The announcement comes as anticipation builds for the upcoming trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6.

The collection, originally launched in 2021, features remastered versions of three iconic titles from the Rockstar Games franchise. These updates include enhanced graphics and refined gameplay mechanics for mobile platforms:

• Grand Theft Auto III: Players step into the role of Claude within the sprawling Liberty City.
• Grand Theft Auto: Vice City: The narrative follows former mobster Tommy Vercetti.
• Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas: Focuses on the story of gang member Carl “CJ” Johnson.

Launch Details and Availability

Starting December 14, the trilogy will be accessible directly through the Netflix mobile application. Additionally, subscribers can download the games as standalone apps via the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Netflix has opened pre-registration for the titles starting today.

This addition marks a major milestone for the streaming giant, which has been aggressively growing its mobile games roster. The service already includes a variety of recognizable titles, such as Monument Valley, Oxenfree, LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed, Cut the Rope, and Heads Up!.
