CONTEUDO:
YouTube is rolling out a series of significant upgrades to its Studio platform, aiming to provide its base of over 30 million monthly active creators with more robust management and growth tools. The updates, unveiled during the “Made on YouTube” event, focus on leveraging artificial intelligence to streamline channel operations and protect creator rights.

Safeguarding Creator Identity
Among the most notable additions is the expansion of likeness-detection technology into open beta. Previously tested with a select group of high-profile creators, the tool will now be available to all members of the YouTube Partner Program. This feature allows creators to identify and request the removal of unauthorized content that uses their facial likeness, a measure designed to prevent audience deception and protect personal reputation.

AI-Powered Assistance and Creative Planning
YouTube is also introducing “Ask Studio,” an AI chatbot assistant designed to provide creators with immediate, actionable insights regarding their channel performance, audience feedback, and content strategy. This tool operates independently from the existing “Ask” AI feature that was previously tested for viewers.

Additionally, the “Inspiration” tab has been upgraded. It now offers:
- Suggested topics tailored to the specific nature of a creator’s channel.
- A set of nine distinct responses for every AI prompt used during brainstorming.
- Explanations regarding why the AI is making specific content recommendations, rooted in audience behavior and insights.

Testing and Collaboration Features
YouTube is also expanding its A/B testing suite, allowing creators to compare up to three different title and thumbnail combinations. The platform reports that this feature has already been utilized over 15 million times since its initial launch for select creators in 2023.

For those looking to grow their reach, a new collaboration feature will allow up to five creators to partner on a single video. This content will be visible across the audiences of all participating creators, though revenue attribution will remain with the primary channel that uploads the video.

Realistic Lip-Syncing for Dubbed Content
Finally, YouTube is enhancing its auto-dubbing capabilities, which currently support 20 languages. The company is developing lip-syncing technology to make translated videos appear more natural by matching the speaker’s lip movements to the dubbed audio. Internal data gathered between December 2024 and August 2025 indicates that viewers spend over 75% more time watching auto-dubbed videos compared to the original versions, underscoring the importance of these localization efforts.
