Apple Music Replay 2025: See Your Top Songs and Artists
Apple Music users can now access their annual listening insights as the platform officially launched its Replay 2025 experience this Tuesday. The feature provides a comprehensive breakdown of personal streaming habits, including top-played albums, individual songs, and artists throughout the year.
The 2025 update introduces deeper analytical categories for listeners to explore:
- Discovery: Tracks new artists encountered for the first time this year.
- Loyalty: Highlights artists that remained consistent favorites in your rotation.
- Comebacks: Identifies artists who returned to your listening queue after a period of absence.

Metrics and Accessibility
Beyond specific artist insights, the dashboard tracks total minutes spent listening, the breadth of the user’s music library by artist count, favorite genres, and the longest streaks maintained. Users can access their personalized data directly through the “Home” tab within the Apple Music application.
The service also provides historical context, allowing listeners to revisit monthly highlights and summaries from previous years. A dedicated “Replay All Time” playlist is also available, aggregating the most-streamed songs since the user first joined the platform.
Data for Artists
Musicians are also receiving updated analytics. The 2025 rollout provides creators with insights into listenership growth and year-over-year performance trends. Artists can view specific metrics regarding their total listener base, geographical reach (countries and cities), and total minutes streamed.
2025’s Top Tracks
Apple revealed the most popular songs on the service for the year:
- 1st: “APT.” by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars
- 2nd: “luther.” by Kendrick Lamar and SZA
- 3rd: “Die With A Smile” by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars
- 4th: “Not Like Us” by Kendrick Lamar
- 5th: “Birds of a Feather” by Billie Eilish
The release of Replay 2025 follows the recent launch of 2025 Recaps by YouTube and a similar update from Amazon Music. By deploying these features ahead of Spotify, these platforms aim to capture early engagement and social media sharing trends.
